Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: Experience in analogue and digital circuit design Embedded C programming experience with low-level hardware knowledge Familiarity with oscilloscopes, signal generators, loads, and other test equipment Hands-on prototyping skills, including soldering and wiring Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team Degree-qualified with industry experience, or significant equivalent practical experience Responsibilities: Design electronic hardware, including schematics, PCB layout, and component selection Develop embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems Create wiring diagrams, BoMs, and technical documentation Carry out testing, fault finding, repair, and product support Support onsite commissioning and customer installations Travel internationally to customer and company sites, with potential offshore work Technologies: Embedded Firmware Hardware Support C++ More: We are a specialist engineering business working on bespoke technical solutions. This is a varied role based in Leeds, working 5 days on-site, with opportunities to work across the full product lifecycle, gain exposure to high-voltage applications, and develop specialist technical expertise. We offer a salary of £40,000 to £50,000, plus a 10% pension contribution and holiday.
