Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements: Experience in an Agile software or digital product environment Good understanding of requirements gathering, prioritisation, backlogs and tools such as Jira Comfortable working directly with software engineers and communicating with a range of stakeholders Confidence to ask questions, challenge constructively and make decisions when priorities compete Curiosity, adaptability and readiness to take more ownership Experience with customer discovery, journey mapping, design thinking or product growth is useful but not essential Responsibilities: Take problems from initial discovery through to delivery Work directly with customers, users, designers and software engineers Understand customer needs, identify sources of friction and define user journeys Gather requirements directly from customers Shape solutions with design and engineering Prioritise the backlog and make decisions when stakeholders compete for development capacity Build understanding of our products, customers and wider business to make decisions with increasing autonomy and influence future product direction Contribute to solving problems across role boundaries Technologies: JIRA Product Owner More: We are a scaling Tech4Good business with a collaborative team and flexible boundaries between roles.
