Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year Requirements: Experienced 2nd Line Field Support Engineer Full UK driving licence Experience with Windows 10/11 installation and configuration, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook Experience setting up and supporting Apple iPhones and iPads, and configuring and troubleshooting printers Knowledge of TCP/IP and network infrastructure Experience using remote support tools and a service desk logging system Responsibilities: Take and log initial IT support requests from end users and resolve IT issues Provide support to end users at regional offices across the Midlands and South, travelling to customer sites as required Resolve incidents directly and log other issues with external third-party suppliers, managing them through to resolution Escalate more complex issues to 2nd and 3rd line support teams Set up end-user hardware using imaging and automated device management systems Image, configure and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops, mobile devices and printers Technologies: Active Directory Excel Hardware Support Microsoft 365 Mobile Network TCP/IP Windows Office 365 More: We are an established, growing business with a proven track record in our industry. This is a permanent Field Support Engineer role based near Northampton, with an ASAP start targeted for October or November 2026. The position offers a salary of up to £30,000, depending on experience, plus benefits. Working is typically hybrid, with 3–4 days per week at customer sites across the Midlands and South or at our head office near Derby, and the remaining days working remotely from home, depending on business requirements.
