Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: Proven, hands-on experience delivering IT software implementations, system configuration projects, business change and system rollouts Strong working knowledge of project methodologies, including PRINCE2, Waterfall and Agile, and the judgement to select the right approach Ability to lead delivery confidently, coordinate matrix teams, influence stakeholders at all levels and remain flexible while holding firm on key priorities Experience managing project scope, change control and stakeholder expectations, including in situations involving resistance to change Track record of working with detailed specifications, including data requirements, process flows, user interface changes and user stories Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical rigour PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM or PMP qualification desirable but not essential Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects and programmes, including software implementations, system configuration, upgrades and rollouts Run process-mapping and requirements-gathering sessions with business experts, translating complex needs into clear, actionable project deliverables Build and manage project plans, RAID logs, budgets and timelines, keeping delivery on track day to day Work through design and technical issues and drive them to resolution with project teams, suppliers and end users Coordinate testing, training, cutover and go-live activities so new systems and processes integrate smoothly with existing ways of working and minimise disruption to frontline services Support and mentor other project staff, contributing to a service-focused culture across our IT team and wider business Apply proportionate project governance and help shape best practice and continuous improvement across our IT portfolio Take ownership of key projects from initiation through to go-live, designing, delivering and embedding IT solutions across the business Work closely with internal teams, business stakeholders and third-party providers to ensure change is delivered effectively Technologies: Support Matrix Project Manager REST More: We are a not-for-profit organisation undertaking significant technology change over the next three to five years. We are formalising our change delivery and project processes, using a blend of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and establishing a programme to move from legacy systems to commercial off-the-shelf solutions. This is
