Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Skilled Database Migration Engineer / Full-Stack JavaScript Developer Responsibilities: Audit our Microsoft Access databases, documenting relational schemas, indexing strategies, complex queries, and custom VBA modules. Design, implement, and optimize a modern target database system suited to a JavaScript-centric application environment. Write resilient, well-tested Node.js data pipelines to extract, transform, clean, and load legacy data while maintaining data integrity. Build secure, high-performance RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js frameworks such as Express or NestJS and JavaScript or TypeScript. Write unit and integration tests to validate migrated data and backend services against legacy business rules and improve upon them.
