As a Platform Support Data Engineer on the SAMS Technology team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the resiliency, stability, and performance of enterprise data platforms that support key business capabilities across Schwab. Working within a collaborative and highly technical environment, you will partner with engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to support and optimize database platforms, deployment pipelines, and application environments while helping drive continuous improvement through automation and modern DevOps practices. In this role, you will contribute to the reliability and operational excellence of applications and services by troubleshooting complex production-support challenges, improving platform performance, implementing monitoring solutions, and identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation. You will help maintain and enhance database environments, support application releases, and influence operational best practices that improve system availability, scalability, and efficiency. Success in this position requires strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and a passion for solving challenging technical problems. What you have Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, software deployment pipelines, database platforms, or related technology environments. 3+ years of experience performing database administration, database troubleshooting, performance tuning, or database operations activities. Experience supporting software releases, release engineering processes, and application configuration management.
