Salary: £90,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements: CISA certification at minimum; CISM, CISSP or AIAA is desirable, together with relevant post-qualification experience Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders at CTO, CISO and -1 level Leadership and coaching experience, including a track record of managing or developing auditors Deep experience overseeing technical IT audits across cyber security, IT operations, operational resilience and data governance Awareness of AI and Frontier AI risks Familiarity with key UK technology risk regulations Experience auditing outsourced processes and technical platforms, including Microsoft Windows, Azure and AWS Responsibilities: Lead and prioritise a portfolio of IT audits and ad hoc projects, resolving resource conflicts and keeping delivery on track from planning through reporting and action follow-up Coach IA Managers and junior colleagues to strengthen issue framing and root-cause recommendations Build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders through evidence-led challenge Identify cross-cutting themes that reshape organisational risk thinking Partner with senior audit leadership to implement modern audit methods, including AI, and bring best practice into the function Technologies: AI Azure CTO Security Windows Cloud AWS More: We are a leading UK financial services organisation seeking a Senior IT Audit Manager to lead technology audits within our well-respected, board-trusted Internal Audit function. The role is based in Edinburgh, Birmingham or London, with hybrid working and a minimum of two office days per week; regular travel between sites is expected for stakeholder engagement. We offer a salary of up to £110,000 depending on experience, plus a 30–60% bonus.
