Salary: £40,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: Strong experience in a cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or security architecture role. Experience with AI technologies, generative AI platforms, machine learning environments, or AI governance and security controls. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Knowledge of AI-specific security risks, including prompt injection, data privacy, model security, and AI supply chain vulnerabilities. Experience securing enterprise technology platforms, ideally across the Microsoft ecosystem, Azure, or other major cloud environments. Understanding of cloud security architecture and the controls required to protect enterprise applications and data. Genuine interest in emerging AI technologies and how they can be adopted securely. Must be based in the UK. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AI platforms, cloud services, enterprise applications, and infrastructure. Evaluate AI tools and solutions, identify security, privacy, compliance, and operational risks, and recommend appropriate controls. Develop AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and guidelines for the secure and responsible use of AI. Assess emerging AI security threats, including prompt injection, data leakage, model security, and AI supply chain risks. Work with cloud, data, and software engineering teams to embed security throughout AI development and deployment. Conduct security assessments, threat modelling, and architecture reviews across AI and wider technology solutions. Monitor emerging AI capabilities, vulnerabilities, and threats; identify gaps in existing controls and recommend improvements. Communicate risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and support the safe adoption of AI across the business. Support wider cybersecurity operations, incident response, and continuous improvement.
