Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Around 2–5 years experience in software engineering; opportunities are available at Consultant and Senior Consultant level. Experience with modern C++ and the Standard Template Library (STL), or Rust. Experience with Python. Exposure to bare-metal development, Linux, or real-time operating systems. Cloud development experience is beneficial. Knowledge or experience of network security is advantageous. Commitment to writing high-quality software, with an interest in testing, clean code, and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to engineering. Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and improve software for advanced network security products. Write clean, reliable, and testable code using modern software development practices. Collaborate with engineers through pair programming, group programming, and test-driven development (TDD). Contribute to developing new products and enhancing existing solutions. Work across technologies and technical challenges, with opportunities in embedded systems, Linux platforms, networking, and cloud applications. Share ideas and contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering team.
