Salary: £80,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements: Strong experience with model evaluation, experimentation and fine-tuning. Hands-on experience building and deploying RAG and GenAI solutions. Good understanding of LLMs, embeddings, vector databases and retrieval techniques. Experience with Azure AI Foundry is advantageous. Ability to solve complex technical problems and explain the reasoning behind your approach. Demonstrated ownership of AI solutions and measurable improvements in model performance. Responsibilities: Build and improve RAG pipelines, including retrieval strategies, chunking, reranking and grounding. Develop GenAI applications and agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or similar frameworks. Adapt, fine-tune, instruction-tune and optimise models. Design evaluation frameworks to measure retrieval quality, hallucinations, answer accuracy and overall model performance. Experiment with models and approaches to improve reliability, latency and cost. Take AI solutions from development into production in collaboration with engineering and platform teams.
