Salary: 70.000 - 100.000 € per year Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Systems Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar software development role, preferably in Agile or systems engineering environments Strong background in designing and implementing complex software systems, including microservices, cloud-based, or enterprise applications Knowledge of Agile methodologies; Scrum and SAFe experience is beneficial Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated work ethic Ability to motivate and inspire team members Flexibility and adaptability to changing project demands Strong communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Familiarity with defense industry standards and practices Defense or automotive background knowledge Responsibilities: Create scalable and secure software architecture across front-end, back-end, and database layers Build user interfaces and develop server-side logic, APIs, and databases, using AI-enabled SDLC tools Lead development teams, establish coding standards, and review code for quality and performance Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and requirements engineers to gather and analyze software requirements, and document them in Confluence Model software requirements using Cameo Modeling or a similar tool Design high-level software architectures, defining components, modules, and interfaces Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and design patterns, such as microservices and REST APIs Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders, developers, and testers to ensure alignment with project goals Identify technical risks in software design or implementation and log them in Jira for tracking and resolution Collaborate with Verification, Validation, and Test teams to ensure the architecture supports testable requirements Technologies: AI Architect Cloud Confluence Fullstack Support JIRA REST microservices Backend Frontend Security More: We are Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, and we are seeking a Software Fullstack Developer & Architect to join our team on upcoming and existing projects for German and international customers.
