Salary: £55,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Strong software engineering experience with C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure Experience building AI agentic tools and applications Experience developing and deploying AI solutions in live production environments Strong understanding of APIs, backend services, and enterprise application integration Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, or similar technologies Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI orchestration Eligibility to obtain SC Security Clearance Python experience is desirable but not essential Experience in the Public Sector or other regulated environments is beneficial Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy AI agentic tools and applications using Microsoft Azure Develop production-ready software and APIs using C#/.NET and Azure AI services Build multi-agent systems and AI-powered workflows that integrate with existing applications and data sources Apply prompt engineering, RAG, and agent orchestration techniques to improve AI performance Implement AI security, monitoring, testing, and governance measures Own solutions throughout the development lifecycle, from initial design through to production Work with clients and technical stakeholders to deliver AI solutions that meet business requirements Support and mentor other engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices Technologies: AI Azure Backend C# Support Python RAG Security ASP.NET Cloud Agentic AI More: We are supporting a global IT consultancy expanding its AI and Software Engineering function in response to increased Public Sector project work.
