Salary: £45,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of C# development experience Experience with WPF or closely related UI frameworks; we are moving to WinUI 3 Experience interfacing software with hardware or test equipment Ability to work with and improve existing codebases Desirable: experience with WinUI 3 Desirable: experience with C/C++ or LabView Desirable: experience in manufacturing or production test environments Desirable: experience with jigs, fixtures, or tooling Desirable: experience with automation, multithreading, or performance optimisation Desirable: experience with databases or calibration/test workflows Responsibilities: Build and improve software that talks directly to a wide range of real-world equipment, including power supplies, acquisition systems, cameras, and test hardware Develop software for manufacturing automation Work across automation, databases, and test and calibration workflows Contribute to parallel processing, performance optimisation, and multi-threading improvements Explore machine learning and emerging AI where it adds value Work on end-to-end systems rather than a narrow slice of software Technologies: AI C# Hardware Machine Learning WPF UX UI Design More: We are a manufacturing automation team building hands-on software at the heart of serious industrial systems.
