Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: Strong infrastructure and virtualisation experience Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V Understanding of email delivery, DMARC, MX records, and mail security Excellent communication and documentation skills A self-starter with a proactive, can-do approach Enjoys proposing new ideas and improving how things are done Experience with or familiarity with Microsoft Servers, Active Directory and Group Policy, Entra ID, Intune and Azure, VMware vSphere (ESXi), Hyper-V, SQL Server, Proofpoint, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, OKTA, Citrix, Veeam Backup, storage platforms, SAN switches, Dell server infrastructure, Jira, Confluence, FTP, and hosted environments Responsibilities: Manage and improve infrastructure across servers, virtualisation, networking, and cloud platforms Lead major infrastructure projects, including a planned migration away from VMware and data centre modernisation Support and enhance email security and delivery, including Proofpoint, DMARC, MX records, and end-to-end mail flow Build and maintain enterprise-grade server, storage, and virtual environments Produce clear technical documentation and share knowledge across the business Technologies: Active Directory Azure Citrix Cloud Confluence Flow Hyper-V Support JIRA Microsoft 365 SQL Security VMware Veeam Office 365 More: We are a leading software company seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer to join our successful global Workplace Technology team.
