Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements: Around 5+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, or engineering At least 2–3 years of experience operating at 3rd Line or Senior Engineer level Previous experience in an MSP or multi-customer environment Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory Good understanding of networking, including firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure or cloud projects, migrations, or implementations Ability to drive, due to the client location Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or MS-102, and ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA, or relevant vendor certifications would be advantageous Responsibilities: Take technical ownership of complex incidents, service requests, and infrastructure projects Provide support across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Exchange, Azure, cloud infrastructure, Active Directory, and identity management Support VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and switching Work with backup, recovery, cybersecurity, server, storage, and wider infrastructure solutions Support SaaS and line-of-business applications, automation, and emerging AI technologies Help design, build, and deploy infrastructure and cloud solutions Deliver hands-on technical support and project work across a diverse customer base Technologies: AI Active Directory Azure Citrix Cloud Hyper-V Support ITIL LAN Microsoft 365 VMware Windows Office 365 More: We are partnering exclusively with a leading consultancy seeking a Senior Support Engineer with experience supporting Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
