Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: Strong commercial experience developing software in C or C++ Solid software engineering fundamentals Experience with multithreaded or high-performance software Interest in solving complex performance and optimisation challenges Desirable: knowledge of SIMD or hardware acceleration Desirable: understanding of signal processing Desirable: exposure to 5G, O-RAN or fronthaul protocols such as eCPRI Responsibilities: Develop C/C++ software used to run and test 5G NR PHY algorithms Improve software performance through optimisation and multithreading Integrate software components and help resolve complex technical issues Develop and maintain automated testing and CI processes Collaborate with hardware, architecture and system-test teams Support interoperability testing with customers, vendors and operators Contribute to technical reviews and wider software engineering decisions Technologies: Hardware Support C++ More: We are an innovative technology business at the forefront of 5G and wireless communications, seeking a Software Engineer to join our software team in Southampton.
