Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: Around 1 to 2 years commercial experience in a relevant technical role, such as Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps or Platform Engineering Experience with some of the following: Azure or AWS, Terraform, CI/CD tools, Docker, Linux, Git, Bash or PowerShell, and monitoring and logging tools Strong technical fundamentals, good communication skills, problem-solving ability, willingness to learn and ownership of work Kubernetes experience is useful but not essential; we can provide training Comfortable commuting to Staines three days per week Responsibilities: Support and maintain cloud infrastructure Work with Azure Support CI/CD pipelines Use Infrastructure as Code Work with Docker and containerised applications Carry out Linux administration and use command-line tooling Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues Monitor systems and investigate problems Technologies: AWS Azure Bash CI/CD Cloud DevOps Docker Git Support Kubernetes Linux PowerShell Terraform GitHub GitLab Jenkins More: We are an established UK software company seeking a Junior Platform Engineer to join our technical team. You will work alongside experienced engineers supporting the cloud infrastructure and deployment systems behind our business-critical SaaS platform, in a supportive environment where you can continue developing your skills. The role is based in Staines, with working hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm. You will work in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and remotely on Monday and Friday.
