Salary: £50,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Experience in cyber security, such as Security Engineering, Cyber Security Consulting, Cloud Security, Information Security, or Security Assurance; prior Security Architect job title is not required Understanding of how secure systems are designed Strong communication skills with engineers and senior stakeholders without a security background Experience with NIST, SABSA, TOGAF, ISO 27001, NCSC guidance, Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, or cloud security is useful Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, or TOGAF are helpful; practical experience and client skills are also valued Must hold or be eligible for SC clearance: resident in the UK for the last five years, with no more than 29 consecutive days outside the UK during that period and no more than six months outside the UK in any calendar year Existing SC clearance is useful but not essential if eligibility criteria are met Responsibilities: Work directly with clients to help them understand risk, define requirements, and design secure solutions Contribute to security architecture and secure-by-design work Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments Review solution and infrastructure designs Define security requirements and controls Work across cloud, network, and identity security Run client workshops and present recommendations Technologies: Architect Cloud IAM Network Security TOGAF More: We are a growing UK consultancy expanding our Security Architecture capability and supporting major programmes across government, defence, critical infrastructure, and other regulated environments. This consulting role offers a career path into Security Architecture, with a salary of £50,000 to £75,000 plus bonus and benefits. The role is hybrid in Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, or London, with two to three days per week in the office.
