Experience working in financial services or another highly regulated environment. Solid understanding of infrastructure technologies and operating models, including compute, storage, cloud and hybrid environments. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver outcomes within complex, matrixed organisations. Excellent communication skills, including experience producing clear, concise executive-level narratives and recommendations. Strong analytical and commercial acumen, including data-led prioritisation, benefits tracking, financial oversight and risk management. Ability to connect strategic objectives with practical delivery, focusing on outcomes, accountability and continuous improvement. Strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, constructive challenge, commercial awareness, curiosity about technology and a results-focused approach. Responsibilities: Lead the development of annual and multi-year technology infrastructure strategies, defining the vision, priorities and transformation roadmaps. Translate wider business and technology objectives into practical initiatives that deliver measurable improvements. Develop executive presentations, strategy packs and decision papers to support leadership discussions and investment decisions. Lead the leadership teams operating rhythm, including performance reviews, strategic deep-dives and governance forums. Monitor portfolio progress, manage dependencies and risks, and resolve bottlenecks to keep priorities on track. Partner with Transformation & Change and the Chief Operating Office on investment planning, budget management and spend transparency. Assess capacity and capability requirements to inform workforce planning and resourcing decisions. Drive productivity, simplification and continuous improvement across processes, tools and organisational design. Establish trusted relationships across technology, operations, procurement and business CIO teams to support alignment and collaboration.
