Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: 3+ years experience in QA or software testing within a digital or web application environment Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation testing Good working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript Experience testing customer-facing web applications across multiple browsers and devices Strong understanding of manual, exploratory, regression and end-to-end testing Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno or Playwright Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git and automated test integration Understanding of HTML, CSS, browser developer tools and web accessibility (WCAG) Experience working within Agile software development teams Responsibilities: Design and execute automated and manual tests across customer-facing web applications Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript or JavaScript Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory and end-to-end testing Conduct cross-browser and responsive testing across desktop and mobile devices Test APIs and integrations using Playwright, Postman or similar tools Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab Identify, investigate and resolve defects, working closely with development teams Contribute to accessibility, performance and overall digital quality standards Technologies: API CI/CD CSS CRM Git GitLab JavaScript Mobile Playwright Postman TypeScript Web UX UI Design More: We offer an opportunity to join an established technology team at a great brand, working within a digital product team responsible for developing and enhancing customer-facing web and CRM applications. This hands-on QA Automation Engineer role combines automated and manual testing, with a focus on Playwright, TypeScript or JavaScript, and high-quality digital customer journeys. Youll work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners and UX/UI Designers, contributing to testing strategy, automation frameworks and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
