Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements: 3+ years of experience in an IT support or network support role Strong practical knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLANs, port forwarding, and firewalls Hands-on experience patching, crimping, and getting equipment working from scratch Security-conscious and detail-oriented Self-starter who can own tasks, communicate with people, and see work through Full UK driving licence for occasional site visits Network+, CCNA, or similar certification is a bonus Experience with Ubiquiti, Sophos, Fortinet, DrayTek, or Meraki is a bonus MSP or field engineering background is a bonus Exposure to Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001 is a bonus Responsibilities: Configure routers and firewalls for new sites Set up port forwarding and IP addressing securely, opening only what is needed Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues remotely and occasionally on site Ensure network setups meet our security standards Escalate complex problems to a senior specialist on the team Build and deploy laptops and mobile devices; Apple MDM training is provided Onboard and offboard users in Microsoft 365 and Azure Handle everyday support requests, including Wi-Fi and printer issues Carry out cabling and crimping and set up new equipment Own small projects, such as phone system rollouts and device refreshes Provide day-to-day IT support for 30–40 head office staff Technologies: Azure Support Microsoft 365 Mobile NAT Network Security TCP/IP Office 365 Cloud More: We are a growing business in Camberley with a small in-house IT team.
