Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements: Active SC clearance required due to project restrictions Strong Azure platform experience, including Databricks, Azure Functions, IAM/RBAC, Storage Accounts, networking, Virtual Machines, Key Vault, monitoring and alerting Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform Experience implementing Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI/CD Experience with Azure DevOps Repos/Git and branching strategies Experience with Docker and Docker Compose Experience with security and vulnerability scanning using Trivy or similar tools Bash and/or Python scripting and automation skills Knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints and DNS Experience monitoring and troubleshooting Azure environments Experience in highly regulated or secure environments, including solutions without Internet access Agile/Scrum delivery experience Fluent written and spoken English Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and direction for an Agile platform engineering team, assigning work according to priorities, capabilities, dependencies and the project plan Plan platform engineering activity across sprints and delivery increments, keeping the backlog technically ready, sequenced and aligned with milestones Direct sprint planning, refinement, delivery, reviews and retrospectives; remove blockers and escalate constraints Design, build, automate and support secure cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure while maintaining hands-on platform engineering capability Lead the development and maintenance of cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, deployment pipelines and secure, scalable solutions using modern DevOps practices Translate priorities and approved architecture into an achievable engineering plan, coordinate delivery and support project governance Review and approve work against acceptance criteria, engineering standards, security controls and documentation requirements Maintain platform engineering items in the RAID log, including owners, impacts, mitigations, target dates and escalation routes Support the project plan with estimates, sequencing, dependencies, progress updates and forecasts Record material technical and delivery decisions and provide governance reporting on delivery status, quality, risks, dependencies, decisions and actions Liaise with Architecture to understand and appropriately challenge the approved HLD, and implement solutions that remain traceable to it, security principles and project standards Pr
