Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: Active MOD SC Clearance and sole UK nationality Proven experience in service architecture or IT service design roles Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and service management principles Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and application landscapes Ability to create detailed service models and operational documentation Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Preferred: ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) Preferred: Experience in large-scale enterprise or government environments Preferred: Familiarity with service modelling tools and frameworks Responsibilities: Develop service architectures covering infrastructure, applications, and operational processes Work with stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements for new or modified services Ensure new services integrate effectively with existing ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management Produce service design packages, including service models, operational procedures, and support documentation Define service standards and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements Collaborate with project teams to support smooth transition from design to live operation Identify opportunities to improve service performance and cost efficiency Technologies: Architect Support ITIL ITSM More: We are seeking a Service Architect for a contract running until 14/04/2027, with potential for extension. The role is based in Barrow-In-Furness, with hybrid working to be discussed during interview. The rate is up to £625.60 per day Umbrella inside IR35. The role focuses on designing end-to-end IT service solutions that meet business requirements and align with organizational standards, ensuring services are scalable, secure, deliverable within agreed SLAs, and integrated with existing processes and technologies.
