Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in hardware, server, or infrastructure support Hands-on repair experience with HP ProLiant servers (Gen10, Gen10 Plus, Gen11, or similar) Experience with Dell PowerEdge hardware Strong fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills Experience replacing motherboards, CPUs, memory, RAID controllers, power supplies, storage, and network interface cards Comfort working in business-critical, high-availability environments Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving A practical, dependable, and methodical approach, with confidence working with physical infrastructure and taking ownership of hardware faults Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults in enterprise server hardware Carry out break-fix repairs, component replacements, and preventative maintenance Support HP ProLiant and Dell server environments Work across server rooms, machine rooms, and technical facilities Maintain hardware reliability and help minimize downtime Assist with upgrades, installations, and equipment replacement Document work accurately and follow established procedures Work with customer teams and support engineers to maintain service continuity Support legacy hardware during a planned technology refresh programme Technologies: Hardware Support Network More: Were hiring an experienced Onsite Hardware Engineer to support critical IT infrastructure in a highly secure, operationally important environment in Southampton.
