Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements: Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or in a similar role. Experience designing and selling complex infrastructure solutions. Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware/vSAN, cloud-native platforms, hybrid cloud and hosting solutions, and infrastructure transformation and modernisation programmes. Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills. Experience producing high- and low-level design documentation. Desirable: Cybersecurity experience, including Zero Trust, Microsoft Sentinel, SOAR, Microsoft Defender, Privileged Access Management (PAM), vulnerability management, attack surface management, or IT/OT security integration. Desirable: Knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases, experience with Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), or knowledge of KVM and other hypervisor technologies. Responsibilities: Design end-to-end infrastructure and cloud solutions for enterprise customers. Lead technical workshops and translate business requirements into scalable solutions. Produce architecture and design documentation. Support customer engagements, bids, and solution presentations. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering, security, delivery, and project teams. Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with best practices. The role focuses on customer engagement and solution design to help organisations modernise their IT estates and accelerate digital transformation. It is based in Belfast, with hybrid working available and two days onsite per week. This is an initial six-month contract, paying up to £680 inside IR35 via umbrella.
