Salary: £45,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a technical Business Analyst, including work on projects delivering Kimball-style data models Solid SQL skills for validating requirements and interrogating data Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Cognos Strong process-mapping, documentation and requirements-gathering skills Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and offering constructive challenge Understanding of data governance, data quality and GDPR Responsibilities: Gather requirements from senior leaders, engineers and employees Assess which legacy reports should be retired, consolidated or rebuilt Translate business needs into clear specifications for data engineers Lead user acceptance testing to ensure delivered solutions work for users Technologies: Power BI Qlik SQL Tableau More: We are working with a Birmingham-based business that is moving its reporting capabilities to Power BI.
