Salary: €44.916 - 77.892 per year Requirements: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience developing Android and/or iOS applications in a Scrum or DevOps environment. Experience with Android technologies: Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose; and/or iOS technologies: Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine. Experience with Clean Architecture and automated testing. Knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices. Strong communication skills. A proactive, curious, and results-oriented mindset. Fluency in either Dutch or English. A background screening, including a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), and signing integrity and confidentiality agreements are part of the recruitment process. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain features for both Android and iOS applications. Build user-friendly solutions for journey planning, booking flows, mobility services, and customer interactions. Translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Write high-quality, maintainable code and improve existing codebases. Increase the quality, reliability, and scalability of the NS app. Implement automated tests and maintain strong code coverage. Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices. Work closely with the DevOps team in an Agile/Scrum environment. As a Fullstack Mobile Developer, you will join Team Map in our Passenger Experience domain and contribute to the NS app, which is used by more than 4 million travelers every month. You will work with mobile and backend developers, business analysts, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner, and be part of our wider mobile community. Our team develops digital mobility services connecting train travel with options such as OV-fiets, parking, shared mobility, and station information. You can work hybrid from our headquarters next to Utrecht Central Station or from home, with flexible hours and a 36-hour workweek. We offer a salary in Scale 60 of €3,743–€6,491 gross per month, depending on experience, a 3% year-end bonus, 8% holiday allowance, a pension scheme, leave and travel benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
