Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: Extensive experience in a similar role using Microsoft Azure Significant CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or Team Foundation Server (TFS) Extensive experience creating, maintaining and monitoring Azure PaaS and IaaS resources Demonstrable experience running multiple applications across multiple environments in a large enterprise Expert-level experience writing and maintaining Bicep infrastructure as code Active Security Clearance or commitment to gaining clearance within the first six months of joining Desirable: experience using Terraform to build, manage and maintain infrastructure as code Desirable: experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments or integrations Desirable: experience using PowerShell to automate deployment, configuration, monitoring or operational tasks Desirable: experience developing or supporting applications using C#/.NET Desirable: experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate or related services Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across Microsoft Azure Build, maintain and optimise Infrastructure as Code solutions and CI/CD pipelines Improve monitoring, observability and operational performance across digital services Ensure the security, stability and availability of production and non-production environments Technologies: Azure C# CI/CD Cloud DevOps IaaS Support Microsoft Power Platform PaaS PowerShell Security Terraform Office 365 ASP.NET More: We at the Insolvency Service, in partnership with Inspire People, are recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape cloud engineering for critical public services and support our transition to a fully in-house DevOps capability. Our Digital Services team has recently moved from a third-party DevOps model to in-house engineering. As part of our wider technology modernisation programme, we are standardising and consolidating our technology estate, improving engineering practices, and building secure, resilient cloud platforms. This permanent SEO role is based in Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Exeter, Ipswich, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Nottingham, with hybrid and flexible working. The salary is £48,429 to £52,222 nationally, with a discretionary Recruitment & Retention allowance of up to £11,000. We offer flexi-time, a Civil Service pension with 28.97% employer contributions, 25 days of annual leave rising to 30 days with service, public holidays
