Salary: £58,000 - 68,000 per year Requirements: Extensive hands-on experience as a Network and Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role Strong Cisco networking and Azure skills Solid Windows Server, Active Directory and MS365 experience VMware experience is an advantage Fortigate, SCCM, Azure Virtual Desktop, scripting and automation, Linux, ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus experience is desirable Microsoft or Cisco certifications are welcome; we value hands-on experience most Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and pass pre-employment security screening Responsibilities: Support, monitor and maintain our on-premise and Azure infrastructure, servers and Cisco networks Contribute to the review and modernisation of our IT systems, including migration from VMware to Azure Act as the senior escalation point across first- to third-line support Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, MS365, Exchange and SharePoint Manage backups and disaster recovery, including testing Liaise with vendors and suppliers, and produce clear technical documentation Technologies: Active Directory Azure Cisco FortiGate Support Linux Network Security SharePoint VMware Windows Cloud DevOps More: We are a well-established international business with our UK head office in Wokingham. You will join our small, highly skilled IT team supporting users across the UK and Europe and play a key role in a major investment programme, including our move from on-premise infrastructure to an Azure hybrid environment. This hands-on role spans the full IT function, from support and maintenance to projects and new technology, offering variety and influence. The position is fully on-site initially, with up to two remote days per week available after probation. It includes monthly travel to a second UK site and occasional European travel. You will join an on-call rota every other week, with an allowance, enhanced call-out pay and additional holiday.
