Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements: We require at least three years of commercial experience in a software engineering or development role. We require strong practical experience developing web applications using Next.js and React. We require proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#. We require practical experience with MySQL databases, including database design and query optimisation. We require experience using version control systems such as Git in a collaborative development environment. We look for evidence of relevant technical experience through previous projects or professional work. We require strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. We require the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We require willingness to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote work with regular office attendance. Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, including application hosting, cloud databases, and CI/CD pipelines, is desirable. Responsibilities: We ask you to develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Next.js and React, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. We ask you to build and maintain integrations between applications, APIs, and databases. We ask you to produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#. We ask you to manage features throughout the development lifecycle, from initial design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. We ask you to participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality. We ask you to provide guidance and support to less experienced developers where appropriate. We ask you to collaborate with technical leads and other team members to deliver projects in line with agreed objectives and timelines.
