Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements: Strong second-line support capabilities, with exposure to Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, and networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPNs) At least two years experience in a second- or third-line support role Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within consultancy, an MSP, or an enterprise environment Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Active Directory Experience with virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, or Citrix Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Experience with networking, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching Familiarity with hardware, backup, cybersecurity, monitoring, and automation tools Ability to drive and access to a vehicle Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft, VMware, CCNA, or CompTIA, are an advantage Responsibilities: Resolve escalated technical issues across infrastructure, cloud, networking, and applications Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and implement configuration changes across customer environments Manage incidents in line with SLAs, KPIs, and best practice Communicate with customers, manage expectations, and provide updates Maintain accurate ticketing, documentation, and knowledge base articles Identify recurring issues and contribute to service and process improvements Support projects alongside senior engineers and solutions teams Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and security activities Work with vendors and third parties on escalations and advanced fixes Technologies: AWS Active Directory Azure Citrix Cloud Hardware Hyper-V Support LAN Microsoft 365 Security VMware Windows Office 365 More: We provide IT consultancy services to a variety of industries across the UK. We are hiring a 24/7 Support Engineer to join a team of engineers working day and night shifts. Day shifts offer a work-from-home or hybrid arrangement, with the role based in Kent. The basic salary is up to £45,000, plus benefits. We offer training and access to the latest training and certifications to support career development.
