You have experience developing serverless applications on AWS and deploying applications using CDK. You are enthusiastic, responsible, collaborative and willing to look beyond your own area of expertise. You have experience writing automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests. You are interested in developments in backend technologies. You can communicate effectively in Dutch or English. Experience with CI/CD, BFF architecture, DevOps and Agile practices, AWS cloud services, refactoring legacy code, and test-driven or data-driven development is a plus. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain TypeScript backend services deployed on AWS to support the NS app. Build scalable, reliable services that meet high quality standards and support our service strategy, self-service goals and proactive passenger services. Work with the Business Analyst, Product Owner and other developers to turn functional and business requirements into technical solutions. Write clean, structured code; address technical debt and resolve security vulnerabilities where needed. Improve backend quality, reliability and robustness through test-driven work and effective use of monitoring tools such as Datadog. Keep up to date with backend technologies and share knowledge with the team and wider developer community. Contribute ideas, experiment with technologies and help shape our technical direction.
