NeoWork is hiring Bookkeepers to manage day-to-day financial records for U.S. companies and accounting firms. You will keep the books accurate and up to date, from transaction recording through month-end reconciliations. Our teammates work directly inside our clients' teams and tools, while NeoWork takes care of recruiting, HR, benefits, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities Record transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers • Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable • Review balance sheets and P&L statements to identify discrepancies • Support month-end close and prepare basic financial reports • Follow established SOPs and communicate issues to the accounting manager Requirements 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero • Strong understanding of reconciliations and basic accounting principles • High attention to detail and accuracy Good written English for communicating with U.S. teams • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Based in Mexico, with a reliable home office setup and stable internet connection Nice to Have • Experience with U.S. clients or U.S. GAAP • Degree in Accounting or related field Benefits We offer health insurance for contractors • Holiday Extra Pay The work hours generally align with standard business hours in the US, with some potential flexibility depending on the client's needs. • This is a 100% home-based position • We prioritize the mental health of our team members and offer mental health days to support their well-being. • In addition to the base salary, performance-based incentives are provided. • There is an annual review and appraisal process in place. • There are ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company.
