Salary: £65,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Strong experience across SQL Server and SQL Experience with data warehousing Experience with ETL/ELT processes Experience creating queries, stored procedures, scripts, and database objects Experience with data reporting Experience with Microsoft Fabric Experience with Azure Data Factory Experience with Dataflows Experience with data lakehouse or warehouse solutions Experience with Python Experience with source control, specifically Git Experience in technical leadership and team management Prior experience in a similar Lead SQL Developer position Good communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities Strong organisational skills Ability to work as part of a team Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership across a team of BI Developers, DBAs, and SQL Developers Work on a range of business-critical projects using Microsoft technologies Drive projects from concept through to delivery Shape the future of our central data platform Support hands-on engineering, team leadership, and strategic decision-making Collaborate with senior leadership Encourage innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within our data function Technologies: Azure ETL Fabric Git Support Python SQL Cloud More: We are a growing digital and data function based in central Leeds, supporting a £650 million revenue organisation with over 2,500 employees. You will be joining an established data team of 18 professionals, working in a hybrid setup with 2 days in the office.
