Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Experience with ProClaim Commercial software development experience Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and data management principles Solid SQL and relational database experience, ideally with SQL Server Experience building and consuming REST APIs and webhooks Comfort working across both front-end and back-end development environments Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities Experience using AI-assisted development tools in a commercial environment Understanding of monitoring, logging, and application support best practices Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Ability to manage projects independently from requirements gathering through deployment A genuine interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies Ability to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement Ownership of projects and commitment to seeing work through to completion Calm, methodical approach to technical challenges Exceptional attention to detail and quality Ability to work collaboratively and understand the commercial impact of technology and business decisions Passion for delivering technology solutions that create measurable business value Experience with React and TypeScript, Python, Node.js, Electron or desktop application development, SQL Server optimisation, n8n or other workflow automation platforms, CRM integrations, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, business systems integrations, Voice AI, Conversational AI, messaging platforms, document analysis, or regulated and process-driven environments is advantageous Responsibilities: Design, build, maintain, and improve AI-driven business processes and automation solutions Translate operational requirements into scalable, reliable software applications Develop across technologies including React, TypeScript, Python, Node.js, SQL Server, APIs, and desktop applications Build and maintain third-party platform integrations using REST APIs and webhooks Develop and support middleware systems connecting business-critical applications Create and maintain SQL Server databases, schemas, stored procedures, and data models Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications, integrations, and AI workflows Use AI development tools and coding assistants to accelerate delivery while maintaining high engineering standards Design controls,
