Salary: £85,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: Degree in computer science, AI, machine learning, or a related STEM field Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager on AI or ML products, with confident stakeholder management and communication at all levels Track record of taking business-critical ML models or GenAI features into production Hands-on understanding of RAG applications, semantic search, and text embeddings Cloud experience, ideally with Azure, AWS, or GCP Strong ML and data science fundamentals, including NLP Ability to manage AI, RAG, and GenAI risk, and knowledge of fine-tuning models on proprietary datasets Technical credibility with Python and SQL, and familiarity with frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow Responsibilities: Own the AI product vision and roadmap, leading the design and launch of AI features across our web and app-based product portfolio Partner with product managers, content managers, engineers, and senior stakeholders to define, prioritise, build, and optimise AI, ML, LLM, and GenAI solutions Translate business and customer needs into clear requirements, user stories, and a prioritised backlog Use AI to broaden reach, engagement, and utilisation across our services Identify opportunities to drive efficiency through AI across our wider business and build the business case for each Track the competitive landscape and keep our product ahead of advances in GenAI Define success metrics for every AI feature and govern performance after launch Analyse usage data and user feedback to drive continuous optimisation, reporting findings to stakeholders Champion AI across our business, educating and supporting engineering teams and colleagues Technologies: AI AWS Azure Cloud Fine-tuning GCP LLM Machine Learning Product Manager Product Owner PyTorch Python RAG SQL Web TensorFlow More: We are recruiting an AI Product Owner for an office-based role in Manchester, paying £90,000 plus benefits and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
