Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, ideally in public sector or large enterprise environments Strong technical understanding, including experience working with development and architecture teams Experience delivering digital and IT solutions across varied technologies and platforms Strong knowledge of Agile, iterative, and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies Experience creating backlogs, user stories, customer journeys, and acceptance criteria Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities Experience working in multidisciplinary delivery teams Desirable: experience supporting digital transformation or large-scale IT change programmes Desirable: knowledge of systems integration, APIs, data analysis, or data modelling Desirable: familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms Desirable: understanding of government or public sector frameworks and standards Desirable: experience mentoring junior team members or contributing to business analysis best-practice communities Background checks and security clearance may be required depending on project requirements. Responsibilities: Gather, analyse, and document business requirements with senior stakeholders and business users Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions to identify priorities and opportunities Collaborate with developers, architects, designers, and testers to shape solution design and delivery approaches Support digital transformation and business change initiatives across complex programmes Create and maintain artefacts such as user stories, process maps, business cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with organisational objectives Support testing activities, including UAT coordination, validation, and defect resolution Analyse systems, processes, and data flows to identify improvement and optimisation opportunities Contribute to continuous improvement and share best practice across the business analysis community Mentor and support junior Business Analysts where appropriate.
