Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year Requirements: Manufacturing engineering and/or detailed shop-floor knowledge. Deep understanding of SAP supply-chain modules. Either a degree in Informatics, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, or Supply Chain and at least 3 years of relevant experience in aerospace or a related complex industry (such as automotive or defence), or an HNC in one of these fields and at least 5 years of relevant experience in those industries. Desirable: software development knowledge. Desirable: experience with SAFe or Agile frameworks. Applicants will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks, including a criminal record check. Responsibilities: Support delivery of the PSE teams work, focusing on PSE scope and integration with Planning & Supply, Finance, Logistics, and other domains. Collaborate with teams within and outside the Belfast project to deploy SAP S/4HANA and the surrounding Airbus tool chain. Support business transformation and adoption, particularly through business acceptance testing. Prepare and execute data migration and entry into service, then provide hypercare support for operations after deployment. Assess and deliver the SAP S/4HANA-based solution with the IT department. Work with other Airbus S/4 projects to identify synergies and harmonize solutions. Analyze current organizational structures, processes, and IT solutions. Enable efficient implementation of new processes and Airbus digital tools in line with SAP standards and Airbuss global strategy. This permanent, professional-level role is based in Belfast, at a site focused on A220 wings and mid-fuselage components, and is part of the PSE team, combining Manufacturing Engineering and Shop Floor Processes. Some travel within the UK and internationally is required.
