Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year Requirements: Subject to BPSS and Export Control checks, including a criminal record check. Demonstrated experience delivering IT services in a fast-moving industrial environment. A BSc degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or Automation), or a Foundation Degree (FdSc) or HND (Level 5) in Cyber Security, Cloud & Network Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering. Knowledge of cyber security practices, ideally in an industrial context, and the ability to assess the physical and digital security of assets at first level. Experience installing security software and system patches, ideally in an industrial context. Desirable: Ability to communicate effectively with IT professionals and end users. Desirable: Previous experience supporting or maintaining IT or information systems in an industrial environment, such as Numerical Control, SCADA, or HMI. Desirable: Experience performing and maintaining software and database backups, including restoring backups within industrial assets. Desirable: Understanding of networking infrastructure. Desirable: Leadership or participation in IT projects and a basic understanding of project management. Responsibilities: Ensure enterprise-class service levels, availability, and integrity for information systems inside production machinery. Plan and carry out activities to ensure information systems inside production machines are well serviced. Take responsibility for deploying, configuring, validating, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of business-owned software, information systems hardware, IT network devices, and operating systems. Take accountability for implementation, scheduled maintenance, reactive maintenance, upgrades, and disposal of IT software, reporting to Industrial Maintenance. Take action on information systems to support the main mission goal. Maintain plans, technical inventories, and documentation for relevant IT systems. Manage changes and coordinate relevant systems. Resolve incidents when able, and escalate or handle support when higher support levels are required. Manage demand for new IT/OT implementations. Help ensure the cyber security of the Belfast sites industrial assets.
