Salary: £58,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: Product ownership experience across networked systems, sensing technology, or radio communication technology Experience working with data science and machine learning teams, ideally in surveillance, video analytics, or intelligence settings Good understanding of best practice in Agile software delivery and the product owners role Ability to work at pace, manage change, and reduce uncertainty Ability to work closely with development teams while considering longer-term product direction and innovation Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, data scientists, and developers Clear, concise communication skills, including explaining complex topics to non-technical audiences and gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and users Pragmatic approach to product management and Agile delivery Ability to convey requirements in formal documentation and user story format Some background in software development, solution architecture, or another technical discipline is beneficial Willingness to extend product skills into software delivery management Maritime or asset-tracking experience is a bonus, as is experience with radio communications systems or IoT products An engineering degree is beneficial but not essential Responsibilities: Act as Product Owner in our edge systems and data science teams Work with our teams to integrate radar, surveillance cameras, radio communications, and other complex sensor solutions into our maritime domain awareness solutions Scope, refine, and deliver data science and machine learning solutions using maritime tracking, video, and other relevant datasets Develop understanding of third-party sensor capabilities, interfaces, and system architectures, alongside our requirements, to build solutions for our customers Evolve early product concepts into features that solve users problems Serve as the subject matter expert on our sensor integrations and data science capabilities Collaborate with stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, and customers to define and refine innovative features for our roadmap Work with our UX/UI design colleagues to ensure new features meet a high standard for usability and visual impact Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment across development teams Present features to the wider team in reviews Train our Customer Success and Support teams on new sensor and communications functionality Understand end-to-end use cases for
