Program Overview The Supply Chain Development Program Internship enables successful candidates to establish a solid Supply Chain foundation. Supply Chain interns embark on a 10-12 week assignment within NASC (North American Supply Chain). Depending on whether the role is within a DC (Distribution Center) or in our Northern New Jersey office, summer projects can look different. Key functional areas for internships include: Order Management, North America Transportation, Distribution, Metrics and Analytics, Supply Chain Relations, and Inventory Optimization. In each of the projects, interns are expected to participate and lead projects that drive positive business outcomes while also building an understanding of key processes, systems, and analytics specific to each area. Internship Areas of Focus Demand Planning Projects within Demand Planning team support analytics surrounding the planning and inventory management functions, ensuring data accuracy and maintaining inventory visibility reports. The intern will gain knowledge of how to use AI/machine learning tools, marketing and sales data to forecast future demand and relay signals to manufacturing plants.
