Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and the ability to validate, govern, and improve AI-generated engineering artefacts. Experience designing complex software systems, distributed systems, data platforms, and cloud-native services. Architecture and design leadership experience, including setting technical direction, resolving complex design trade-offs, and guiding software engineering teams. Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, operating systems, networking, APIs, integration patterns, and performance trade-offs. Experience with AWS cloud computing platforms, including architecture patterns, security, observability, and deployment. Strong background in software architecture, systems engineering, distributed systems, or complex cloud-native platform delivery. Programming experience in Go, Rust, C/C++, Java, or Python. Desirable: AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification. Desirable: experience in Telecoms, AIOps, Network Ops, RAN/Core Analytics, Data Engineering, anomaly detection, RCA, lakehouse, or agent orchestration patterns. Responsibilities: Design AI-enabled, complex cloud-native and data-intensive systems that support Network Operations across RAN, data, and automation domains. Own the system engineering discipline, translating business problems into robust technical designs and ensuring AI-assisted delivery remains governed, secure, and outcome-focused. Own complex technical designs from early problem framing through to release and operational support. Take a hands-on role and be responsible for technical outcomes from concept to production. Work with a global IT consultancy supporting our clients transition toward delivery models utilising AI agents to streamline systems software and operations.
