PRODUCTION What We Do Whether it’s driving a vision from start to finish or collaborating with teams to inspire and deliver projects of Epic quality, Epic’s production teams take pride in consistently delivering world-class products and experiences. What You'll Do Epic Games is looking for a quality-focused Senior Release Manager to work closely with our producers, programmers, build programmers, and QA teams to oversee the build and release process for the Fortnite Ecosystem. In this position, you will work directly with the brightest technical minds in the business as we build the premier game engine for a multitude of platforms. In this role, you will Develop new practices and structures to better scale release management and stabilization processes across our Game Dev ecosystem, while managing a sub-team of release managers Own the scheduling, coordination, quality control, and external certification process across multiple platforms and/or products Act as the liaison between multiple development teams, coordinating and negotiating development plans, exceptions, sales/mktg/publishing content, as well as releases Work with the publishing and development teams to determine release content plans as related to sales, giveaways, promotions, etc., and shepherd that content through external party approvals for release Work closely with QA, Build Programmers, and Lead Programmers to monitor the automated build and integration process, facilitate the resolution of build failures, and understand and communicate the impact of branches and code merges Partner with QA Leads to establish and maintain the bug triage process and prioritize must-fix issues, coordinate internal and external release notes, known issues, and knowledge base updates, and ensure releases have passed all required checks and approvals leading up to live deployment, while communicating approved exceptions to all necessary parties What we're looking for Strong production/project managem
