Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer Do you love building and pioneering in the technology space? About the Team: The Ecommerce Platform Team is a horizontal team that builds and owns the Checkout and "My Trips" experiences within Capital One Travel. We normalize the checkout experience across all product and card teams - flights, hotels, rental cars, vacation rentals, activities and cruises - with a focus on making checkout consistent, reliable, and a positive experience for users to utilize one of the premier benefits of their credit card. You will play a central role in unifying the checkout experience across travel, designing and building a robust framework that accommodates the unique requirements of each product while presenting a cohesive experience to customers. We are looking for a passionate engineering manager, with significant experience building large-scale, component-driven web applications. Equally important are strong communication and collaboration skills - this role requires partnering closely with product and card teams to understand their needs, drive alignment on shared patterns, and earn buy-in as we converge on a unified checkout platform. What You'll Do: Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices, and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment Lead
