Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field 3+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or quality engineering within Agile product development Proven experience building and maintaining automated tests for enterprise software and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, data models, and distributed applications, with experience testing complex, interconnected systems Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Confidence using AI-assisted tools for test design, automation, and defect investigation; awareness of AI-driven SDLC is a plus Desirable: airline or airport operations knowledge, including flight operations, weight and balance, load control, baggage, or ramp operations Desirable: experience with safety-critical or regulated systems Desirable: experience with Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Karate, or Appium Desirable: experience with Postman or SOAP UI, Jenkins and GitHub, JSON, SQL, Kafka, or Grafana Desirable: performance, resilience, or security testing experience; Python or Java skills; ISTQB certification; or experience testing AI-powered or agentic capabilities Responsibilities: Analyse requirements and workflows to define test approaches and produce test plans, test cases, automation assets, and quality reports Design, implement, and maintain automated tests to improve regression coverage and delivery efficiency Execute functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and exploratory testing Validate workflows, integrations, APIs, and data flows across interconnected products and services Support CI/CD through automated testing and quality validation Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues through to resolution Collaborate with product, engineering, and domain teams to ensure solutions are testable Champion improvements in quality, automation maturity, and engineering practices, including the use of AI-assisted tools Technologies: AI Appium CI/CD Cypress GitHub Grafana ISTQB Support JSON Java Jenkins Kafka Playwright Postman Python Robot Framework SOAP SQL Security Selenium UX UI Design API More: We are recruiting for a 12-month contract Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Hounslow, with a 50/50 hybrid working arrangement and a rate of up to £380 per day.
