Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field At least 3 years of experience in Technical Business Analysis, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Product Definition within Agile teams Experience defining functional and technical requirements for enterprise software, with a solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and data models Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex operational scenarios to technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience using AI-assisted tools for analysis, documentation, or solution design Desirable: experience in airline or airport operations, mission-critical, safety-critical, or regulated systems; familiarity with Postman or SOAP UI, JSON and log analysis, AI-DLC practices, or AI-powered or agentic software Responsibilities: Refine business requirements and customer workflows into user stories, business rules, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications Analyse APIs, integrations, data flows, and system interactions across connected products and services Validate requirements and solution designs with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Engineers, domain experts, and customers Support backlog refinement, design reviews, functional validation, testing, and release readiness Investigate product issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements Produce specifications, process models, data mappings, and decision records Technologies: AI Support JSON Postman SOAP UX UI Design More: We are recruiting for a Technical Business Analyst contract supporting a team that creates airline operations software for aircraft loading, weight and balance calculations, and safe, on-time flight departures. The role is based in Hounslow, with 50% of the time on site, and runs for 12 months. The rate is up to £420 per day via umbrella, inside IR35. You will work in Agile product teams with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Engineers, and airline customers, and AI-assisted tools are part of everyday analysis.
