Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements: Active DV Clearance, which must already be held Strong background in Data Architecture or Data Engineering, with hands-on experience on at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP Solid understanding of modern data patterns, including lakehouse, medallion, and streaming architectures Experience designing full cloud data platforms, not just individual components Comfortable working with clients and stakeholders Practical mindset and ability to make sensible trade-offs without over-engineering Familiarity with cloud-native data services, Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, distributed processing frameworks, and streaming technologies such as Kafka or cloud-native equivalents Responsibilities: Design end-to-end data platforms, covering the full lifecycle from ingestion through to consumption Work with lakehouse and medallion architectures, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers Define batch and streaming pipelines to suit different use cases Make decisions about storage, orchestration, governance, and security Work with clients and stakeholders to translate business problems into practical technical solutions Deliver work in secure, regulated environments, using sound judgement and attention to detail Select appropriate tools for the problem and cloud platform in use Technologies: AWS Azure Cloud Databricks GCP Kafka Security Snowflake Spark Redshift Architect BigQuery More: We are a successful multinational technology consultancy with long-term client programmes and opportunities for Data Architects and Data Engineers across secure, high-impact programmes. The role offers ownership of how data platforms are designed and delivered across different client environments and industries. It is cloud-agnostic, with programmes using AWS, Azure, or GCP. Salary is £60,000 to £100,000 plus bonus and benefits.
