Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Demonstrable commercial experience as a senior or lead software engineer working on modern websites or digital platforms Proven full stack engineering skills, including front-end technologies such as React or Next.js Additional experience with Python and Django for back-end development would be desirable Strong understanding of front-end web architecture, including React, headless CMS, and relevant CI/CD pipelines Exposure to AI tools for engineering efficiency Experience with scalable, cloud-based secure web platforms, preferably integrating CRM, marketing analytics, or payment transactions Experience with line management of direct reports and performance appraisals would be beneficial Full, unrestricted rights to work in the UK Preference for candidates living close to the Cambridge area Responsibilities: Work as a hands-on project software lead within our small team Report directly to our CIO Improve the user experience of our digital platform Build using modern technologies Work alongside external partners on our platform transformation Technologies: AI CI/CD Cloud CMS CRM Django Marketing Python React Web JavaScript More: We are a not-for-profit organisation based a few miles south of Cambridge, helping tackle human diseases and disorders.
