Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements: Degree educated, with a 2:1 or above in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university Strong Systems Engineering skills and Go/Golang coding ability Experience designing and developing highly reliable, robust systems and APIs Understanding of application internals and the infrastructure required to support applications Strong knowledge of network, operating system, and application-level security Experience with systems observability/SRE, such as logs and metrics Experience with Infrastructure as Code; Terraform is preferred Good understanding of Kubernetes and how it works Knowledge of low-level programming, kernel separation, system calls, and bare metal Responsibilities: Design and build the infrastructure that runs our production applications Contribute directly to our backend codebase, primarily using Go/Golang Tackle technical challenges across authentication, security, networking, and WebSockets Design resilient, adaptable, highly available systems Work on performance, observability, and security Use Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, and Kubernetes Technologies: Backend Golang Support Kubernetes MacBook Network Security Terraform More: We are a scaling FinTech developing a fast, secure cross-border payments platform designed to enable ultra-low-cost, near-instant money transfers at significantly higher transaction sizes than currently possible.
