Our Investment Banking Technology Group is looking for Associates and/or Vice Presidents with flexibility to sit in our New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA offices. AI is driving a convergence from hardware to apps and we want people to work across sectors/verticals to drive new insights and differentiated execution. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with regional and international clients on a wide range of complex transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, demergers, leveraged buyouts and defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, strategic advisory assignments and executions of public and private capital markets transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with professionals throughout the firm to deliver high quality advice to our clients. You will play an important role on a team that includes senior professionals who will encourage you to go beyond the numbers and think creatively. Qualifications: - 3-6+ years of experience within the investment banking industry with a proven track record working on complex executed deals - Experience within the technology industry is strongly preferred, but not a requirement - Extraordinarily high level of motivation and commitment to working hard - Strong analytical, corporate finance, written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and under tight deadlines - Bachelor's degree required; an MBA and/or CFA designation would be an asset - Series licensing or must obtain - Location will be either New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients - helping them reach their goals.
